Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the agreement that governs billing services, which is a separate signed contract between Practice Claim LLC and your practice.

Please read before publishing

This page is a working draft prepared for review. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Practice Claim should have counsel review and adjust these terms, and confirm the governing law and dispute resolution clauses, before this site goes live.

Last updated: This draft has not yet been dated for publication.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Practice Claim LLC, a medical billing and revenue cycle management company based in Austin, Texas. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Practice Claim LLC, and “you” refers to the person or organization using this website.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the version that applies.

3. This website is information, not advice

Everything on this website, including articles, checklists, guides and answers to common questions, is general information about medical billing and revenue cycle management. It is not medical, legal, tax, compliance or coding advice for your specific situation, and you should not rely on it as such.

Coding rules, payer policies and regulations change. We try to keep this site accurate, but we do not guarantee that everything on it is current or complete at the moment you read it. Decisions about your own claims, coding and compliance should be made with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

4. Service claims and guarantees

Figures described on this site, including our stated denial rate guarantee, claim submission turnaround and pricing, describe the service we offer to clients. They take effect only through a signed services agreement between Practice Claim LLC and your practice, and the definitions and conditions in that agreement govern.

Nothing on this website is an offer, a contract, or a guarantee of any particular financial result for your practice.

5. Do not send patient information

Do not submit protected health information or any other patient information through the forms on this website, by email, or through the site assistant. These channels are not intended for it.

We handle patient financial and clinical data under HIPAA-compliant processes as part of our billing services, and we enter into a business associate agreement with each client before receiving any such data. That protection applies to the service relationship, not to unsolicited messages sent through this website.

6. Using the site assistant

This website provides an automated assistant that answers questions about Practice Claim and helps you find pages. Its responses are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not advice. Where anything matters, please confirm it with a member of our team.

Use of the assistant is subject to usage limits, and we may restrict or withdraw access to it at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, to interfere with the operation of the site, to submit false information, or to collect data from the site by automated means without our written permission.

8. Comments and submissions

Where you submit a comment, a review, or a message through this website, you confirm the content is yours to share and does not contain patient information or anything unlawful. Comments and reviews are moderated and appear only once approved. We may edit or decline to publish any submission, and remove published content at any time.

By submitting content you give us permission to publish it on this website in connection with our services.

9. Our content

The content of this website, including text, design, graphics and logos, belongs to Practice Claim LLC or is used with permission. You may read, print and share it for your own non commercial use. You may not republish it commercially or present it as your own without our written permission.

10. Links to other websites

This website may link to sites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any third party site.

11. Availability

We aim to keep this website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practice Claim LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of revenue, profit or data, arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it. Please read it alongside these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the courts of Texas have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This clause should be confirmed by counsel before publication.
